Ok, here’s my obligatory self-aggrandizing bio, written mysteriously in the third person as tradition demands, although who are we kidding – I clearly wrote it myself:

Joe Shockley has been writing humor on the web since 1999, in a variety of paid and unpaid capacities (mostly unpaid, sadly). He takes a sideways look at living in the modern world.

Notably, Joe has been published in the now-defunct online magazine Just Laugh, had one column appear in some tiny New Hampshire weekly paper he doesn’t remember the name of (long story), was hired to write for a dot-com that went belly up in a matter of months (Not his fault!  Probably.), and is the former “Workplace Humor” editor and columnist at the Suite 101 online magazine.  Actually, none of that is terribly notable — but it has been fun.
